Seekonk Speedway

Hello everyone since my car survived lastnight. My dad took me to Seekonk Speedway located In Mass. its a 1/3 mile oval a great track All the people were very nice and I finally got to race with a few other girls I went out for my practice and the car was pretty good. not up to speed with most of the cars. and for the first time on the track I did good. and You will see why i wasnt up to speed in a minute They told my dad that he needed to ajust on the carburator so be fore the qualifer he did I wne out and well my car felt like it wanted to stall everytime I stepped on the gas. i finished last. I would start 24th in the main event . but I finished 18th . Not bad for my first time and to find out most of the kids were running a different restrictor for the last race and I didnt know this till the end of the race. Well I love the track and there is a great bunch of kids that race there. I cant wait to come back And it was great racing with 23 other cars and not just a handfull cya all next season

The last race of the season at SugarHill speedway

Well It was a very very cold damp cloudy day. bearly reaching 35 degrees/. This is the last race of the season for the minicups at sugar hill and we are here for the fall challenge. The cars were sliding and spinning all over the track during both practices I had 2 cars spibn out right in front of me. I avoided both of them but by the skin of my teeth, LOL We went out for our time trials and well coming out of turn 4 I spun out and I ended up timing 10 out of 10 cars. alot of cars were spinning out or getting squirly the track was very slick. So I am going to start dead last for the main. I have my work cut out for me. Starting 10th In the main I was able to work my way op to 5th before the 5 of jake Spun out trying to pass me going into turn 2 but he didnt have the position going into the corner so the right front of his car mad contact with the left rear of my car and sent us both around. Causing a cauction. We were both sent to the rear of the feild. I finally worked my way up th 5th and another cauction came out for the 5 of jake again he got loose and spun out making it his 3rd cauction fo the day . so he was black flaged. Moving me up to 4th on the restart. ON the start I caught the 3rd place car sleeping so I dove underhim to take 3rd away. and never looked back. I was cathing the 2 lead cars but didnt have enough laps . Wew had a great time. No major wrecks and came from last to take 3rd place. finshes were 1) Joey Pole 2) chad Conlon 3) Corrine Zerbarini 4) Dave Richardi 5) Billy Brady 6) Alex Kunh 7) John Nason 8) Tommy MacVay 9) Jacob labrecque and 10) Rocco Caronzo

Bad luck struck the 58 team yet another time this seaason. This was the big minicup weekend. I went out for the 2 practices and my car was way off the lap times by like 3 seconds. and down on power only running 4400 RPMs. We tryed and tryed many different things and nothing worked. I timed 7/8 cars and for the first 35 lap segment I went down th the lead cars 2 laps . Then we cam in and getting ready for the second segment of 40 laps. We had time to look the car over again and low and behold my dad found the problem. A clamp on the axel came off allowing the axle to move so everytime i went into the turns the axle would move and put pressure on the brakes. Making my car slow way down. My dad fixed the problem and I went out for the second segment and was much happier. my car was up to speed with the rest of the field and I made up my lap on 3 of the cars. but never was able to make it up on the top 5 cars. Finishes 1) jacob Labrecque 2) rocco caronzo 3) Alex Diamond 4) Wesley Roach 5) John nason 6) corrine zerbarini 7) Billy Brady and 8) Tommy Macvay
